Anti-Corruption Expertise

On April 26, 2024, a meeting of the RF CCI Council for the Development of Anti-Corruption Compliance and Business Ethics was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, dedicated to the issues of developing the institution of anti-corruption expertise.

The proposal voiced at the meeting to unite independent experts became the starting point for the development of the creation of the “Ekspertiza” Association of Anti-Corruption Experts.

Later, on May 30, 2024, the VIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Legal and Anti-Corruption Expertise: State, Practice, Problems and Prospects” was held, where the aforementioned proposal received its continuation.

The conference was organized and held by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Kursk State University in cooperation with the Department of State and Legal Disciplines of the Volga Branch of the Russian State University of Justice, the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, with the support of the Public Chamber of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

During the Conference, three groups of issues were discussed:

  1. Corruption as a threat to the state and society; historical and legal experience in combating corruption; anti-corruption policy in the Russian Federation; foreign experience in combating corruption in the public sphere; main directions of anti-corruption activities in government bodies;
  2. Anti-corruption education, anti-corruption training, anti-corruption propaganda and anti-corruption upbringing;
  3. The essence and legal regulation of the examination of regulatory material, its varieties (legal, anti-corruption, linguistic, economic, etc.), objects, subjects, methods and methodology for conducting expertise of regulatory legal acts and their draft versions.
